Where your kids come first!   A Christian preschool serving children ages 2 years, 9 months - 5 years Q: Are parents required to help in the classroom? A: Yes. Parents are welcome to come in the classroom at any time, but we ask that each parent, as a member of the Cooperative, take turns helping in the classroom. At the beginning of the school year, parents choose one week in each of the three trimesters to volunteer in their child's class. The parents are also responsible for providing a snack and drink one class period per trimester. Q: What are my duties when I'm the classroom helper? A:  The teacher will let you know how you can best help out during the class period. We encourage the parents to interact with all of the students. The children love to have their parents in the classroom; it shows how much they care! Parents must provide a snack one day per trimester and sit at the snack table during center time on that day. Parents will be asked to supervise children in an activity that the teacher has planned. Parents also help the students and staff with clean up before and after our centers. Q: Is there a snack program for children in your preschool? A: Yes. All children enrolled at Abiding Branches Cooperative Preschool are offered a snack that consists of a drink of 100% juice or milk, and a food such as crackers, vegetables, fruit, or other healthy alternative. Parents are encouraged to provide healthy snacks for the children. Q: What kind of emergency training does your staff have? A: All of our childcare providers are required to have infant and child first aid and CPR training.
