Policies

Abiding Branches Cooperative Preschool accepts children from age 3 years to 5 years old, regardless of religion, ethnicity, or physical ability. All children must be toilet trained by the time they enter preschool. Late enrollment is welcome for children who meet the above criteria after the start of the school year upon a two week observation period. Upon enrollment at ABC, you will receive our comprehensive handbook outlining all of our policies.

While the Abiding Branches Cooperative Preschool environment is safe for children of all ages, accidents do happen. In the case of injury, you will be notified immediately. Each member of our staff is CPR and first aid certified.

Registration for 2026-2027 will open February 6, 2026!

2026-2027 Tuition and Class Options

Mon/Wed/Fri Morning Preschool Class (3-5 yr olds), 9:15 a.m.-11:45 a.m. ----————————————————-—————------------- $255/month
Mon/Wed/Fri Afternoon Pre-K Class (4-5 yr olds), 12:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m. ———————————————————————————— $280/month

If you are looking for a FULL DAY option for your 4-5 year old child, please register for BOTH the Mon/Wed/Fri Preschool and Mon/Wed/Fri Pre-K class. Please note, your child must be 4 years old by Sept 9, 2026 to register for both classes. Students will bring a lunch from home to eat at school.

Tues/Thurs Morning Preschool Class (3-5 yr olds), 9:15 a.m.-11:45 a.m. ------———--—————————————————----------------- $180/month

Mon - Fri Morning Preschool Class (3-5yr olds) - Please register for both the Mon/Wed/Fri Morning and the Tues/Thurs Morning classes

**If you sign up for more than one session (Full day MWF/5 mornings) you may be charged $150 at checkout. Your account will only reflect one registration fee of $75. The other $75 will go towards your tuition balance.

If your desired class is full, please add yourself to the waitlist. You will be notified if a spot opens up.

NEW FOR 2026-2027!

LUNCH BUNCH - Mon./Wed./Fri. - Lunch Bunch is a special mid-day program designed for 4 & 5-year-olds who aren’t quite ready for a full day but would love extra time to socialize and build friendships. Children stay after class to enjoy lunch together, practice independence, and connect with peers in a relaxed, supportive setting. Lunch Bunch offers a gentle extension of the preschool day—giving children the chance to grow socially while still keeping their schedule just right. You can choose this as an add-on during registration.

EARLY DROP OFF - Early Drop-Off is available Monday - Friday beginning at 8:30 AM for families who need a little extra flexibility in their morning schedule. Children are welcomed into a calm, supervised environment where they can ease into the day with quiet activities and play before the preschool day begins. Early Drop-Off provides a smooth, comfortable transition that helps children feel settled and ready to learn. This is available as an add-on to your class registration. Please choose the days you need to utilize Early Drop-Off.

2025-2026 Tuition and Class Options

On occasion, Abiding Branches Cooperative Preschool will offer special programs and day trips that may require additional fees. All special programs and fees will be announced prior to the event. Special fees may include entrance, bus rental, and special entertainment fees.

Classes are subject to change based on registration and needs of the children.

Fees & Payments

A $75 non-refundable registration fee per student is required to hold a place for your child. If you are registering a student for more than one class, you will only pay ONE registration fee.

In lieu of a supply list, parents will pay a supply fee at the beginning of the year. This may be paid via cash or Venmo.

Tuition rates are dependent upon the class your child is enrolled in. Tuition may be paid in one annual payment, three payments, or nine monthly payments. The first payment will be collected on August 17, 2026. This will confirm your child’s enrollment in your selected class(es). Once the payment has been processed on August 17, 2026, the first month’s tuition payment is non-refundable. Subsequent monthly payments will then be collected on the 1st of the month running October-May.

If you choose to pay your tuition IN FULL via CASH prior to August 10, 2026, you will be eligible for a 2% cash discount off of your full tuition. Please contact Breanna Johnson to set up this payment.

***Please note, if you choose to pay by credit card, there will be a 5% non-refundable processing fee added on to your tuition payments.

We know that the cost of tuition is a challenge for some families. Below are links to a scholarship opportunities for early learners. Funding for these scholarship programs is funded through the Minnesota Department of Education.
